The Minister of Works, Power and Housing, Babatunde Raji Fashola, is currently trending on social media platforms. This was after he said that the roads are not as bad as Nigerians often portray it to be. According to him, they are not that bad.
PUNCH reported that the minister stated that reports about the poor state of the country’s roads were mere propaganda.
As expected, Nigerians have reacted to Fashola’s statement and they have taken to the popular micro-blogging platform, Twitter, to share their opinions.
While expressing their grievances, Nigerians told the minister to take a road trip across the country to see the reality of things.

If the poor nature of Nigeria roads is exaggeration, then Fashola should ply Enugu to Anambara road. pic.twitter.com/H7liyJoXVA

Fashola said Lagos roads are not that bad….
That's why we can't drive straight
We'll have to go zigzag so we can avoid potholes
And while avoiding these portholes, we also have to avoid the impatient Keke and bike riders so they won't hit our side mirror!!!— D.a.m. D.a.m. (@damola_og) November 7, 2019
