Popular Nigerian OAP and MTV Base VJ, Egwuekwe Nnenna , also known as Nenny B, has bagged this year’s award as the “TV Personality of the Year” at the Nigerian Hype awards, held recently. Nenny was outstanding in the category which also included Nkechi Blessing Sunday, CDQ, Efa Iwara, Small Doctor, Zlatan Ibile, T Classic, Zainab Balogun and Olumide Oworu as nominees.
The graduate of Anambra State University, who also worked as an OAP at HotFm, and made popular through the station’s Traffic Drivetime Show, was delighted to receive the award. In her words;
“Working on television has always been a dream of mine. Being able to live out my dream is still surreal to me, so to be recognized for living my dream is truly a blessing I do not take for granted. I would like to thank my MTV Base family at Viacom International Media Networks Africa for being my wings and my heart. I am truly grateful for all the support and love.”
Nenny who joined MTV base in 2018 after her time at HotFm has also featured in television shows like; ‘My Big Nigerian Wedding’ and ‘La Belle Africa’.
