Italian Club AS Roma has launched a new official pidgin-english twitter account for fans in Nigeria and other african country.
The club becomes the first European club to create an official social media profile specifically for Nigerians.
A statement by the club also said the account is been run out of Lagos and was set up after Nigerians contacted the club, asking for an account to that caters specifically for Naija Twitter.

The AS Roma twitter account became famous in Nigeria after featuring the excited commentary of Lagos radio host, Mark Otabor after Roma’s comeback win over Barcelona in last season’s Champions League. The club also adopted the Super Eagles at the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
