President Muhammadu Buhari today assured the leadership of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) that his government will meet their minimum wage demand.
The leadership of the NLC were at Aso Rock to pay the President a courtsey visit.
Buhari, explained to the NLC that despite the nation barely struggling to survive, the administration was still prepared to pay the new minimum wage.
He also called the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) administration as irresponsible for doing nothing with the oil money they received while in power. he said his administration met the rail system undone and failed to fix the power sector despite 16 billion naira budgeted for it.
He also thanked them for the support given to him.
