Valencia will face Barcelona in the Copa del Rey final after a 3-2 aggregate win over Real Betis in the semi-final.
Rodrigo scored the only goal of the second leg after Kevin Gameiro’s late goal earned a 2-2 draw in the first leg.
Valencia now face holders Barcelona who progressed ob Wednesday after beating rivals Real Madrid 4-1 on aggregate.
Barcelona remain on course for the title after scoring 30 times overall enroute to the final.
The holders are also seven points clear at the top of La Liga
Valencia last won the trophy in 2008 under Ronald Koeman with a side that featured David Silva, Juan Mata and David Villa.
