The Kano state high court has on Monday granted bail to Deji Adeyanju, according to Premium Times
Dei Adeyanu was freed on bail after 67 days in detention but must first provide sureties and N500,000.
Adeyanu was arrested on December 13 over allegations of murder in 2005.

He was charged with murder in 2005 but was discharged and acquitted in 2009 after a long trial.
The police failed to bring his charges against him which fuelled speculations he the arrest was politically motivated. He has spent over two months in detention.
He is expected to meet his bail requirement today.
