Seun Kuti Listed To Perform At This Year’s Grammy Awards

Seun Kuti, son of Afrobeat legend, Fela Anikulapo Kuti will perform at this year’s Grammy Award, the recording academy announced on Saturday.

Seun Kuti is nominated for Best World Music Album and will perform alongside Malian singer/songwriter, Fatoumata Diawara, at the award’s Premiere Ceremony in February 10 at the Staples Center, Los Angeles, U.S.

Seun’s fourth album, Black Times was released  in March 2018, debuted at number eight on the Billboard World Music Chart in the first week of its release.

Seun’s follows the footstep of his brother, Femi Kuti who has been nominated four times – in 2003, 2010, 2012 and 2013 respectively.
