Today is superstars birthday!!! Chinedu Okoli, better known by his stage name Flavour N’abania or simply Flavour, is a Nigerian singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and performer.
In 2005, he released his self-titled debut album N’abania. In 2010, Flavour released his second studio album Uplifted. It was supported by the singles “Nwa Baby (Ashawo Remix)”, “Adamma”, and “Oyi Remix”. The album’s success made Flavour one of Africa’s most sought out artists. Flavour was booked to perform at numerous concerts and social events following Uplifted’s release.

- Nwa baby (remix)-
This iconic song basically made Flavour become a household name, it was taken from his second studio album Uplifted. The song originally appeared on Flavour’s debut studio album N’abania. The song describes girls who transform themselves from being reserved to being outgoing. . The single made waves in Nigeria prior to its video release. The song and lyrics was originally written and performed by “Cardinal” Rex Lawson back in the 1960s. Then the song was entitled “Sawale”. The song had us bumping and grinding for months.

- Ada Ada –
In this song, Flavour describes a greatly adored Ada, or first daughter, as she commences her traditional wedding. The lyrics forfeit details of a typical Igbo (a Nigerian tribe) traditional wedding. The song became the official wedding anthem in a short time.

- Baby Oku-
This track came along with a hot visual and was a serious party anthem following its release. The song was also included in his album “Blessed”. The video was shot in Miami, FL and directed by Antwan Smith.

- Oyi-
This song featured the talented songstress, Tiwa Savage. The video was superb, directed by Godfather Productions, the lyrics were a 100 and the chemistry between the two talents had us thinking something more was going on.

- Golibe –
Flavour released an acoustic version of “golibe“ from his Thankful Album and also a normal version. This song rocked airwaves and was on everyone’s lips for months.
