The highly anticipated movie “Chief Daddy” produced by EbonyLife Films, the producers of blockbuster movies The Wedding Party, The Wedding Party 2, and The Royal Hibiscus Hotel held a press screening today at the Filmhouse Cinemas Lekki, Lagos.
And some of the casts and crew were there in attendance like Mo Abudu, CEO Ebonylife TV, Rapper/Actor Falz, Award-winning actress Kate Henshaw, Linda Ejiofor Suleiman, Joke Silva, Shaffy Bello, Beverly Osu, and several others.
Chief Daddy is surely a movie that would leave you in stitches, with amazing personalities from the casts. The movie follows the life of billionaire industrialist,Chief Beecroft who is known as a pillar of the society, He is extravagant, exuberant and larger-than-life but extremely benevolent, as he serves as a benefactor to everyone around him including a large extended family of relatives, household staff, and mistresses. All seems well in the Beecroft household until Chief Daddy passes away and suddenly the ‘wheels begin to turn’ and things go awry, so many secrets were unveiled and his legitimate wife had to face the reality of what was before her.
Suspense, pain, laughter, betrayal, greed,desperation and the need to fit in was what made the movie something to remember.
