Nigerian Billionaire, Aliko Dangote has been named the sixth most charitable man in the world by Richtopia, a UK based digital periodical that covers business and economic and financial news.
The list has Warren Buffet, Bill Gates and JK.Rowlings as the top three, followed by Oprah Winfrey and Elon Musk who complete the top five.
Another Nigerian, Tony Elumelu was named in the 11th position.
The Dangote foundation whose mission is to enhance opportunities for social change through strategic investments that improve health and wellbeing, promote quality education, and broaden economic empowerment opportunities recently added $1.2 billion to help reach its goal.
The Aliko Dangote Foundation was incorporated in 1994 and is currently the largest private Foundation in sub-Saharan Africa
