Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdo?an isn’t letting the murder of Saudi Journalist, Jamal Khashoggi to be swept under the carpet.

Erdogan, on Tuesday, laid out details of his country’s investigation into the killing of the Washington Post Journalist and claimed the death was planned by Saudi Operatives.

“It is clear that this savage murder did not happen at the drop of a dime but was a planned affair,” Erdo?an said to members of Turkish parliament.

His account contradicts that of the Saudis who claims Khashoggi died after confrontation with Saudi operatives.

“This murder might have been committed at a consulate building which may be considered Saudi Arabian land, but it rests within the borders of Turkey,”

Khashoggi’s death has raised international concern and damaged the reputation of the crown prince who promised to usher in reform and catapult Saudi into the 21st century.

Many countries, including German and now the US. have said they do not accept Saudi Arabia’s explanation for the murder and subsequent disappearance of Khashoggi, which has put Saudi Arabia under tremendous pressure.
