Manchaster United Manager, Jose Mourinho had to be restrained as Chelsea scored a late equaliser to share the spoils at Stamford Bridge.
The late fracas occurred after Chelsea assistant, Ianni celebrated by racing past United dug out and pumping his fist wildly in the air after Barkley bundled the ball home in added time.
Mourinho responded by racing after him and had to be restrained by security, which resulted in a fracas that involved players and staff.
Chelsea went ahead in the first half through a Rudiger header. United pulled themselves on level terms in the second half through Martial who shot from close range.
Martial put United’s nose in front with his second goal of the match in the 73rd minute and it looked as if United would go back to Manchester with the three points but Barkley had other ideas.
His introduction brought a bit of spark to Chelsea’s attack and he was the fastest to Giroud effort that cannoned against the cross bar in added minutes.
After the incident and while leaving for the dug-out, Mourinho responded with a three fingers gesture, which was a reminder of the three titles he won at Chelsea.
Sarri spoke to Mourinho and apologised for his assistant’s behavior after the match.
