I had a great time visiting Festival Mall located at Amuwo-Odofin Lagos. It was my first time at the Mall and I did not know what to expect despite hearing it is a beautiful mall to visit. On arrival, the serene environment with its ample parking space caught my attention. The mall’s ample parking space really made my shopping experience even more relaxing as I had no worries at all.
Walking through the mall was fun, the environment is spacious and beautiful. They host a variety of top brand stores like Audacious, Slot, Health Plus pharmacy, Shoprite, Sketchers, Casa Bella, Timekeepers, Pep, Funtasticaland, Miniso store etc.
I then decided to give myself a treat by picking up a few items but making a decision on what to buy was tricky as I had many lovely shops and items to pick from. The items I had my eye on included cute hand bags, elegant household decorative pieces and many blinking clothing items etc. After much deliberation, as in, what seemed like half a day lol, I decided on a really lovely handbag and it was very affordable too.
The peak of my visit to the mall was to discover the family entertainment center – a really lovely place where your kids can have a good time, skating and playing games, while you shop and have your own fun time at the Mall too. The store assistant even explained that you can hold a fun themed party for your children at the center. That might have just given me a fab idea to throw my niece a very memorable birthday party.
Later on, I decided to see the new Peppermint movie at the Cinema. It was really cozy with the air condition working perfectly and yes, the seats were perfect. Surround sound throughout the movie was great too.
After the movie, I was hungry o and got myself to the food court area. Very quickly, I pampered my stomach with a delicious plate of fried rice and chicken with a bottle of chilled soft drink to step it all down. Hm! The food was so on point.
Interestingly, the mall has been having some fantastic ongoing summer activities, so as I ate my meal, there was a Salsa Dance Class going on at the mall’s atrium just by the food court area. It was fun to watch happy shoppers taking part and beat this, the summer salsa class is free and open to all mall shoppers including free arts & crafts learning expression class which just concluded for children too.
I truly must say that my first visit to Festival Mall was relaxing and a fruitful way to spend a day out chilling with friends or just shopping. I will definitely visit over and over again and I am glad that I have indeed found Where the Fun Is.
