INEC Officials Walk Through River In Taraba to Register Voters
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Taraba State, in its effort to register people for the upcoming elections before the deadline of August 14th, have crossed a river to reach more eligible voters.
This is according to INEC’s official Twitter handle. which twitted a pictures of its staff defying natures element and added the caption:
“The Registration Officers of Kurmi Local Government Area crossing a river to enable them get into the hinterland for the last lap of the Continuous Voters Registration in Taraba State.”

While there have been calls for the deadline to be extended. the body have said it may not be extended beyond the August 14 deadline.
