Kendrick Lamar’s m.A.A.d city, released in October 2012, has just spent its 300th week on the Billboard 200 chart.
The album which sits at number 116 is only the fourth Hip Hop album to do so, with the other three belonging to Eminem (2010’s Recovery (now at 312 weeks), 2002’s The Eminem Show (now at 354 weeks) and 2005’s Curtain Call: The Hits (now at 403 weeks.)
While 22 albums have reached the milestone, Lamar still has a long way to go to reach the dizzying heights of the top two: Pink Floyd’s The Dark Side of the Moon (937 weeks) and Bob Marley and the Wailers’ Legend:
