Our woman crush this Wednesday is talented Nollywood actress, Funlola Aofiyebi Raimi.
Funlola Aofiyebi is widely known for her role as Brenda in the M-net hit series, ‘Tinsel’.
Funlola Aofiyebi Raimi is regarded as one of the pioneers of the new school Nollywood. The actress has starred in several box office hits, mostly as a lead character or a supporting character, this includes Kunle Afolayan’s ‘Figurine’; a performance that earned her an AMMA nomination.
Over the years, the actress has received international acclaim for her performances – she has also starred in other Nollywood hits, such as ‘Entreat’, ‘Grey Dawn’, among others.
Funlola recently shared a story on how she journeyed to South Africa to gather more knowledge on acting, after 21 years of experience so as to broaden her horizon.
