Nigerian hip-hop act, Babalola Falemi also known as SauceKid or Sinzu who has been in U.S jail since 2016 for $15,388 fraud, has been released.
The rapper was accused of stealing bank card numbers and identifying information of their owners. He allegedly stole $15,388 from the unsuspecting victims. Earlier in 2013 and 2014, the rapper had been arrested in U.S on different occasions for theft.
Sinzu came on the Nigerian music scene in 2005, with an impressive jam, his first ever single ‘Omoge’ featuring the legendary Mike Okri.
In the years that followed, he released songs which was widely accepted. This includes a mixtape. However, before he went to prison, Sinzu’s music career had began to wane but he was struggling to revive it.
His jail term, however, shattered whatever that was left of the sloppy career.
On Sunday, March 25, 2018, a video surfaced on Instagram, captioned “My bro is back!! SINZU”.
In the video, the rapper was seen being welcomed home.
