Feminine Care Presents ‘Street2School’ Awareness Campaign

Jumoke Awe   the coordinator of the   Feminine Care Development  Foundation  will on the Saturday 26th of  November, 2011 stage an awareness  campaign and the take off point is Alausa, Ikeja from 10am – the  campaign  is  said  to advocate  for the  education  of the  indigent and orphaned  girl  child.

Speaking about the project, Jumoke Awe explains, “Over the last several years, we have indeed organized several events and projects that have been extremely beneficial to the feminine gender. The foundation is committed to improving the status of the girl child by providing education, motivation and opportunities for females to discover themselves and become an asset not only to themselves and their immediate community but to the society at large”. Speaking further, she said: “the goal of the
campaign is to get at   least 1,000 indigent and orphaned girl child off the Street 2 School by 2012 academic session.

The law graduate of Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-Iwoye, Ogun State said she believe so strongly that the education of a girl child is crucial to the economic and social development of a balance society.

“The campaign is our way of projecting into the future by saving tomorrow’s women today through education”. “We are partnering with local authorities to make this happen take off  point will  be  at Ikosi-Isheri, Agege and Ajegunle”,  she further explained.
