Tokyo Olympics Will Hold Next Year “With Or Without Covid-19” – IOC VP


The Vice-president of the International Olympic Committee, John Coates has vowed that the Tokyo Olympics will start on July 23 with or without Covid-19.

“Now very much these will be the Games that conquered Covid, the light at the end of the tunnel,” he said. The Olympics have never been cancelled outside of the world wars. The outbreak of Coronavirus pandemic caused the Committee to postpone the 2020 Olympics to July 23, 2021.
