10,000 SMEs to benefit from MTN’s Revv Program

The ongoing COVID-19 pandemic has made irreversible impact on not just Nigeria but the wider global economy. With MSMEs constituting over 41.5 million businesses and representing 84% of the total labour force in Nigeria (NBS, 2018), supporting them will provide a cushion for the country to navigate the economic implications of the pandemic. To aid small businesses as they prepare for a post-COVID future, MTN Nigeria launched the Revv Program.

The program aims to reach at least 10,000 startups and small businesses through masterclasses in digital literacy, business management and more. A total of nine sessions will be delivered by MTN executives and industry experts over a six-month period. After which, 200 will be selected to join MTN’s Y’ello 200 accelerator programme giving them exclusive access to a broad range of technology-driven tools and services.
