Roads and Airports to Reopen After Meeting the Necessary Guidelines: PTF
The Presidential Task Force (PTF) on COVID-19 has disclosed that the interstate road lockdown and the airport closure will reopen after meeting the necessary guidelines. This was announced by Dr. Sani Aliyu, the Coordinator of the Presidential Task Force during the briefing on Covid-19.
He also disclosed the efforts of the Minister of Aviation, Sen Haidi Sirika and the Minister of State for Transportation, Sen Gbemisola Saraki in working with the airlines and the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) respectively toward reopening of inter state movement. He said that as soon as the Presidential Task Force was satisfied of the people’s safety, the road would be reopened.
