The former US president, Barack Obama has reacted to Nigeria’s Seun Osowobi’s name on TIME’s 2019 list of 100 rising stars that are shaping the future of business, entertainment, sports, politics, science, health and more.

OSG earlier reported that Osowobi was among the three Nigerians in the list.

Taking to his social media page, Obama revealed that he is proud to see Osowobi, who is an Obama Foundation Fellow, on the list. According to him, her work represents what his foundation is about.

Osowobi is the founder of Stand to End Rape (STER), an organization catering to sexual abuse survivors in Nigeria

According to TIME, her foundation has reached around 200,000 people across the country through its services, such as training for health workers and counseling for survivors.
