PETER PSQUARE’S ‘TOO LATE’ TALKS ABOUT DOMESTIC VIOLENCE AND WE LOVE IT
Peter Okoye popularly called Peter Psquare has just released the video of his new single, ‘Too Late’, and we are totally in love with it.
‘Too Late’ is a song about protecting women and girls against domestic violence. It reveals a violent man, who became remorseful after his wife left him but it was too late.
Domestic violence has been a topic on many platforms for a while now and thankfully, it is gaining the attention it needs. Also, people are more enlightened about it. In fact, in Nigeria, a man who abuses his wife stands the risk of being jailed.
In the ‘Too Late’ video, Peter clearly states that we all can stop abuse.
He played the role of a violent man who was shocked at how his friends, who hailed him for beating his wife, were lovingly treating their girlfriends.
By the time he realizes his mistakes, his wife had left their home with his two children. Unable to bear his foolishness, he killed himself.
Thankfully, it was all a dream.
“Protect your own
Protect our women
Protect our children
Say NO to Domestic violence
Before it is TOO LATE,” the singer says.
