Nigerian Embassy In South Africa Shuts Its Doors Against Nigerian Victims

The Nigerian Embassy in South Africa has shut its door to Nigerian victims of ongoing xenophobic attacks in the country.

The latest attacks which skyrocketed on August 28, 2019, has spread to several parts of that country, raising fears among foreigners in the country.

According to some of the Nigerian living in South Africa, who visited the Nigerian Embassy for help, they were denied help and protection.

Confirming the state of unrest and fear, the former president of Nigerian Union South Africa, Iyke Anyene, mentioned that Nigerians had remained in the houses, afraid for their lives and unsure if they would be the next victims.

These are terrible times for Nigerians living in South Africa.
