Nigerian Troops Arrest Vice-Chairman Of Local Government In Zamfara For Assisting Bandits
Troops operating in Sharan Daji, Zamfara State have arrested the vice chairman of Anka Local Government, Zamfara, Yahuza Ibrahim Wuya for allegedly assisting bandits attack Wuya and Sunke communities of the state.
Clement Abiade, spokesman of the operation said Ibrahim was assisting then bandits through giving them information and also helping to sell rustled/stolen cows and donkeys.
“Yahuza Ibrahim was allegedly reported to seamlessly assist in selling rustled/stolen cows and donkeys as well as giving information about troops, other security agencies and vigilantes’ movement to the bandits.” the spokesperson said.
He was accused of assisting the release of a notorious gun runner, Sani Yaro from Gusau prison.
