Thierry Henry Loses First Game As Monaco Coach

Former Arsenal player, Thierry Henry has lost his first game in charge as manager of Monaco after a 2-1 defeat to Strasbourg.

Monaco went behind in the 17th minute through a Adrien Thomasson goal. Monaco’s job was even made harder when they went a man down after Samuel Grandsir was sent off.

Straabourg took advantage and went two goal ahead through Lebo Mothiba, but Monaco had the last say, even if it was a consolatory one.

Youri Tielemans scored the first Monaco goal of the Henry era in additional time and condemned Henry to his first defeat as Monaco manager.
