Femi Gbajabiamila and Mo Abudu receives awards from House of Common

The Leader of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila and media mogul, Mo Abudu were honored at the UK House of Commons during the week for their contributions in their fields of practice.

Gbajabiamila was recognized for his outstanding legislative performance in the Nigeria’s House of Representatives, while Abudu was honoured for her work in media.

Other notable wiiners of the award include Right Activist, Arch. Bishop Desmond Tutu; H.E. Jakaya Kikwete (former President of the Republic of Tanzania); Dr Josephine Ojiambo (Deputy Secretary-General of CommonWealth); Late Prof Attah Mills (former President of Ghana); Mr. John Momoh, Chairman and Founder of Channels Television; Bill and Melinda Gate Foundation; Kofi Annan Foundation; The African Development Bank (AFDB) 

The award, The African Achievers Awards honours African Achievers from various endeavours across the African continent.
