Everything You Need to Know About Lagos Experience11
The Experience is an annual Gospel event hosted by Pastor Paul Adefarasin of House on the Rock ministry. Although an interdenominational gospel concert, the event, which debuted in December 2006 with over 70,000 persons in attendance has rapidly gained momentum over the year with an average attendance of 750,000 worshippers which now gathered yearly.
By this, the Experience has become known as the largest musical concert in Africa.
In previous years, the all-night worship event had showcase gospel artistes from various parts of the world, some of which included Don Moen, Frank Edwards, Cece Winans, Tye Tribbett, Donnie McClurkin, The Mid-Night Crew, Wale Adenuga, Glowreeyah Braimah, Yolanda Adams, Eben to mention a few.
This year’s edition is themed: “The Experience 11 is Revealing Jesus”. According to Pastor Adefarasin “the purpose of the 2016 edition is to further reach the world with the message of the Gospel of Christ, in a fashion so simple, yet effective. Ii is high time Christians stop sitting in their corners but taking centre stage to spread the Gospel of Jesus by truly Revealing Jesus.”
Artistes billed to perform today are: Don Moen, Frank Edwards, Travis Greene, Tope Alabi, Micah Stampley, Cece Winans, Donnie Mcclurkin.
Also ministering are Gabriel Eziaschi, Eno Michaels, Chioma Jesus, Nwando, Tim Godfrey, Midnight Crew, Smokey Norful and Samsong, among others.

There will be health services requests or emergencies in place for such matter arising such as Lagos State Ambulance Service and medical of Doctors, Nurses & Paramedics.
There is also a large contingent of LASTMA officers, the Nigerian Police and Traffic Wardens which will be working with the Experience team at the time of this report till the end of the concert.
The Experience is funded through the sacrifice of the House on the Rock and other volunteers who have partnered up with the ministry. That makes the Experience a FREE event like previous versions have been and tickets will not be required to attend.
There will be representation from these various units/services: the Police Force, Private Security Companies, the Rapid Response Squad, Mounted Guards, the Anti-Bomb squad and the Rock Foundation Force. There will be CCTV cameras in place and Metal detectors will be at all access gates. And every concert attendee will have to go through a thorough but brief security check before access to the venue.
