#UnionBankEngage: Emeka Emuwa, Izobe Spiff, Boma Ogidigben, Tosin Yusuff, others share ideas at Port Harcourt edition

Union Bank of Nigeria Plc. held the sophomore edition of its leading networking series, ‘Engage’ on Thursday, September 1, 2016 at the Asia Town Restaurant, Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

Following the successful inaugural edition at Abuja, Union Bank brings its leadership and networking series to the Garden City, engaging professionals and entrepreneurs to connect and share innovative ideas and foresight to better thrive in this economy.
The theme of the sophomore edition: ‘Navigating and succeeding in a slowing economy’ not only addressed how best entrepreneurs and professionals can survive the current recession in Nigeria’s economy but how to also ensure they come out stronger at the end.

“With almost 100 years of experience in Nigeria’s financial space, Union Bank is well versed in thriving in tough economic cycles as evident from our recent transformation. We understand how important it is to have a platform for the seamless transfer of knowledge and information as this helps to better leverage the limited opportunities in these times.” Said Emeka Emuwa, Chief Executive Officer, Union Bank while speaking at the event.

“As we set to hold ‘Engage’ in several cities across Nigeria, we hope to share some of our experiences with millennials while creating an interconnected web of entrepreneurs and professionals.”

In addition to hosting the knowledge sharing platform, Union Bank also launched two (2) of its newly upgraded branches in Port Harcourt further cementing its commitment to providing efficient banking solutions.
