Why Hillary Clinton visited Beyoncé on set of new music video

The Democratic presidential candidate paid an unscheduled visit to the popstar on March 24 on the Los Angeles set of her new video, reports US Weekly.

The magazine’s source could not establish whether Clinton got the endorsement she was hoping for or agreed to appear in an on-screen cameo, but a second insider confirmed that Beyoncé is working on a new album that is “likely” to be released in April.

The scoop at Us Weekly, which says that the former secretary of state paid a visit to the Queen of the Universe, is so confident, so cheerful. But it was followed almost immediately by a denial from Clinton’s camp who said the meeting never happened.

At an Iowa town hall in December, the former Secretary of State was asked whether she would rather be president or Beyoncé. “I want to be as good a president as Beyoncé is a performer,” Clinton replied.

Recall, Beyoncé attended a Clinton fundraiser in New York last May. Her husband, Jay-Z, previously endorsed Barack Obama in the 2008 and 2012 presidential races.
