ISIS Claims Responsibility For Suicide Bombing Which Killed 29 In Iraq
The Islamic State (ISIS) militant group has claimed responsibility for a deadly suicide bombing which ripped through Southern Iraq on Friday.
A suicide bomber blew himself up at a crowded soccer pitch and claimed 29 lives while 60 people were reportedly injured in the attack. Iraqi forces have struggled to contain terrorist attacks in the past month as ISIS fighters ramp up attacks in Iraq as the militants still control significant portions of territory within Iraq.
The stadium is located in Iskandariya, just 25 miles out from Bahdad.
