Hulk Hogan Awarded $115 Million In Sex Tape Case

Retired Wrestling Champion, Hulk Hogan has won a case against the website, Gawker, after they published his sex tape on their website.

The secret recording of Hulk Hogan whose real name is Terry Bollea having sex with his friend’s wife in 2012 received lots of publicity as Gawker insisted that his rights to privacy did not apply as he is a public persona.

Hulk Hogan on the other hand claimed that himself and his friend’s wife were not consulted and did not give their consent before the video was published. A Florida jury has awarded Hulk Hogan $115 million in compensation and his lawyer said outside the courtroom, “This is not only his victory today, but also anyone else who’s been victimised by tabloid journalism,”
