Meet The First Nigerian Governor Without Deputy

Everyone present at the swearing in ceremony of Kogi state Governor, Yahaya Bello were left surprised as he was sworn in without a deputy and signed the oath of office at the New Lokoja stadium yesterday.

Yahaya became governor in a controversial supplementary election that was conducted after APC’s governorship candidate, Prince Audu Abubakar, died suddenly during the governorship election in November last year.

Meanwhile, James Faleke who ran as deputy governor with Abubakar did not attend the ceremony leaving the position vacant and controversial as at the time of this report
