In what may be described as a surprise, Governor Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti on Tuesday, visited the Governor of Osun State, Rauf Aregbesola, with Aregbesola advising him to face the reality that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), is dead.
Yesterday’s visit is Fayose’s first visit to an All Progressives Congress, APC, state. The governor said he is in Osun not for any political reason and that he is not ready to abandon the PDP for the APC, but for his belief in the Yoruba race and her development and unity.
He added that the Yoruba race is greater than any political office, hence his belief in the development of the race. Aregbesola described the visit of Governor Fayose to Osun as demonstration of maturity, saying it takes a very mature human being to know that at the end of every public office, he will be left with humanity.
