5 Reportedly Shot Dead In Onitsha

The DSS officially dropped all charges against the leader of the Indigenous People Of Biafra (IPOB) yesterday.

Nnamdi Kanu had been in Federal government custody for a little over three months and his release yesterday prompted widespread celebration in Anambra state.

The Daily sun reports that five IPOB members were shot in Onitsha, Anambra state yesterday by security operatives.
The IPOB supporters reportedly clashed with security operatives around the Bridge head in Onitsha.

Attempts to disperse the crowd by security operatives failed and led to the operatives allegedly shooting into the crowd.
