Photos: When Tinubu Arrived Ooni’s coronation in Lagos State’s newly acquired security surveillance helicopter
Yesterday, the attention of the whole world shifted to the ancient town of Ife, known as the Cradle of the Yorubas as final activities for the coronation of the 51st Ooni of Ife, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Babatunde Ogunwusi (Ojaja II) were held.
The ceremonies, which was held at the Oba’s palace was attended by notable dignitaries, including the Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo, General T.Y Danjuma (Rtd), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, Chief Bisi Akande, Sultan of Sokoto, Governors Ambode, Amosun and Ajimobi, Ex-Governors Alao Akala, Oyinlola, former deputy governor of Osun State, Erelu Olusola Obada, and many more.
One talking point that has generated outrage on social media was the decision of Governor Akinwumi Ambode to release one of Lagos State’s newly acquired security surveillance helicopters for APC leaders, Bola Tinubu and Bisi Akande’s private pleasure trips.
According to TheCapital, many people at the event were embarrassed to see the former Lagos and Osun state governors arrived in one of the surveillance helicopters.
Infact, concerned citizens took Governor Ambode and his godfather to the cleaners, lamenting that while daredevil armed robbers unleashed death and mayhem on various parts of Lagos, Ambode and his godfather are busy playing Russian Roulette with the people’s safety and fate.
