I Was Never Beaten To A Pulp – Toyin Aimakhu Denies Rumour
Leading Yoruba actress, Toyin Aimakhu, has been in the news for several months over are unstable married home, eventual separation and rumour of a new lover just few weeks after separation.
As if the entire drama was not enough, the new rumoured lover, Seun Elegbede reportedly beat her to a pulp recently over public denial of her newly found love.
The talented actress, has denied the beating rumour during a chat with NET, according to her, ‘I don’t know where this story is coming from, but honestly, Seun didn’t not beat me. Seun is a responsible man; it’s only an irresponsible man that will beat a woman to a pulp.’
She further confirmed a relationship with Seun Elegbede as just friend, ‘Seun is my friend. We have been friends for a long time.’
Toyin’s marriage to actor, Adeniji Johnson was reportedly cut short over allegations of infidelity on the part of Adeniyi. An allegation he apologized and seek for forgiveness from his wife rather than denying it.
The effect of the allegations, denial and all is Toyin leaving her matrimonial home as clinging on to movie producer Elegbede.
Although Egbegbe had an image of a controversial figure when it comes to issues of dating women in unusual circumstances so it was not difficult for many to believe that he was involved in this too. The pair have been seen by eye witnesses attending events together.
Toyin has also denied being beaten to a pulp on her Instagram page, claiming she had been busy on location acting with popular actor, Odunlade Adekola. ‘I have been on set filming with Odunlade Adekola.. Whoever is saying or writing rubbish about me pls continue God help you.. #rumourmongers#haters..,’ she wrote.
