Nigeria would be ably represented by our very own ambassador of beauty & tourism – Queen Collete Nwadike. Miss Nwadike who is an Honours graduate of English is currently a Special Assistant to the Anambra State Governor. She has worked hard to make her mark in the world of beauty and modeling all the while bringing succor and meaning to the lives of the less privileged around the country via her foundation which centers on welfare and empowerment.
In 2001, Agbani Darego made history by becoming the 1st Black Miss World; this year, we have a desire to see history repeat its self as Miss Nwadike departs Nigeria for Sao Tome & Principe to join 50 beauties from all over the world in her quest to become the 1st Black Exquisite Face of the Universe.Preparing to fly high the national flag on the international stage alongside 50 nations, Miss Nwadike has gone the extra mile to ensure in physical appearance, mind, character and more, she becomes the obvious choice for the crown; thus bringing pride & glory to her beloved country – Nigeria.
Miss Nwadike was selected via a portfolio screening and is being groomed and prepared by Aurora International – a top notch Beauty, Events & Lifestyle outfit. Speaking on the pageant preparations, ex-beauty queen & CEO, Aurora International – Miss Tomi Lydia Salami expressed confidence in her delegate; stating: “Collete embodies the qualities of a Queen – inside & out. She is also being coached in etiquette, elocution, catwalk, poise, slating and many more. She works out at the gym practically everyday. We’ve left no stone unturned in our bid to make her stand out in the upcoming competition. I believe history is about to be made again. It’s high time Nigeria brought home the crown.”
Nigerians are urged to support Collete as she embarks on this special assignment to promote the Beauty, Culture & Tourism potential of Nigeria and Africa to the world.
