Anti Doping Agency Recommends Russia’s Suspension

A report by the Wada Independent commission which was inaugurated in December 2014 has recommended the suspension of Russia after it examined allegations of doping and extortion in Russian athletics.

The world athletics governing body, IAAF, was also indicted in the report by the commission which was headed by Dick Pound.

Among the commission’s recommendations include Russia’s suspesion from next year’s Olympic games, lifetime bans for five coaches and athletes after it accused Russia of running a state orchestrated doping programme.
