Warehouse Explosion In China Claims 50 Lives

Chinese state media has confirmed that An explosion at a warehouse in the northeastern Chinese port of Tianjin has killed at least 50 people, including at least a dozen firefighters, and injured more than 700.

The warehouse blast occurred after a container of hazardous materials exploded in the early hours of today. A large number of fire fighters were sent to control the inferno, however as many as 36 fire fighters are feared missing and at least 12 are feared dead.

The warehouse where the explosion occurred is said to belong to Ruihai Logistics as the blast shattered windows and doors in its environs.
