3 Days After Hiroshima, Japan Commemorates Nagasaki Bombing

It’s been 70 years since the United States dropped the world’s first atomic bomb on the Japanese cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

At the commemoration of the Hiroshima bombing which held three days ago, Japanese prime Minister Shinzo Abe called for a global nuclear disarmament.

An estimated 70,000 people died in the Nagasaki bombing and the commemoration was held at the Nagasaki Peace Park with the Mayor of Nagasaki and Prime Minister Shinzo Abe in attendance.
