Gunman Kills Two In Cinema Attack

An unidentified man opened fire in a movie theater during the screening of the movie trainwreck and reportedly killed two people and injured nine others before taking his own life.

The attacker was said to be white and the attack took place in Lafayette, Louisiana. Following attacks by gunmen in recent times, notably the killing of nine people at an African church as well as an attack on a Navy recruitment center, President Obama has once again reiterated the need for gun control.

Although he hasn’t made much headway with Congress, President Obama has touched on the need to pass more stringent measures for gun purchase and ownership.

The Governor of Louisiana, Bobby Jindal said; “We will get through this. We are a resilient community.
“This is an awful night for Lafayette. This is an awful night for Louisiana. This is an awful night for the United States,”
