Amstel Malta reinforces commitment to youth empowerment with Enugu Edition of Showtime

Nigeria’s No.1 premium low sugar malt brand Amstel Malta, has once again proven true its commitment to the growth and success of the Nigerian youth with the redefined concept of Amstel Malta Showtime Season 3, which held its first edition in Enugu last week.

The high quality brand which is known for its undeniable effort in supporting the youths on their journey to success with various platforms such as its sponsorship of the AMVCAs, and its recent online competition, Act The Part which brought to light the talent of a young aspiring actress, delivered a first of its kind concert drama tagged, “The Rush” at the Golden Royale Hall, Enugu.

The innovative concept, afforded five young talents which includes a Harmonica player, Torty Stephen; Guitarist, Asumugha Chidubem; Singer/ voice-over artist, Okafor Princess; Dancer, Omobtrude Ezekiel and a drama group of six, Amigoz Theatre, the rare opportunity of starring alongside renowned entertainers such as Sound Sultan, Phyno and Gordons and also an unusual privilege of being mentored by them.

According to Amstel Malta Brand Manager, Hannatu Ageni-Yusuf, Amstel Malta is always and will remain committed to encouraging young talents in every way possible.

This is why we have given them the rare opportunity to be mentored directly by celebrated Nigerian artists who are at the top of their games. The Rush, directed by Ice Nweke is an exceptional display of art by ballerinas, jugglers, singers, actors, dancers, fire eaters, instrumentalists, comedians e.t.c to tell a young man’s journey to success amidst the setbacks that befall him.

Amstel Malta promises a memorable show in Lagos on the 18th of September at the Unilag Sports Centre, which is the final leg of the event series. Auditions will hold on the 14th and 15th of September at the Unilag main auditorium to select 5 talents who will feature alongside Sound Sultan, Phyno, Gordons, Ice Nweke and other entertainers, in the Lagos edition of “The Rush”.
