Photos: THE BEAT FM TURN UP IN IBADAN CONCERT FOLLOWING OFFICIAL LAUNCH OF BEAT 97.9

Ibadan stood still over the weekend as the Beat 97.9 FM Ibadan was officially
launched with amazing performances from Oritsefemi, Phyno, Seyi Shay, Reminisce, May D, Dj Zeez, Saeon, Dbanj, Olamide, Skuki, Tillaman, new DB record signing Tonto Dike and Kayswitch amongst others!

The Music stars and fans who thronged the Muave 21 Center, venue of the concert, had observed a moment of silence to honour departed Branama singer Kefee who had passed on on the same day; Friday the 13th.

The Beat 97.9 Ibadan Official Launch which had Gbenga Adeyinka the first and Basket mouth as hosts was arguably the biggest concert to have ever been hosted in the state as music lovers’ present at the concert enjoyed a pot-pourrie of rap, r’nb and comedy!

Amongst those who put up a stunning performance include ‘Irawo’ crooner Seyi Shay who radiated some sexiness whilst performing her latest song “murda”, rave of the moment Oritsefemi whose anthem “double wahala” had the frenzied crowd singing along in excitement and mo-hawked rap star Phyno who after performing a few of his hit singles made a surprisingly unexpected introduction of rap cohort Olamide on stage for the huge track “ghost mode”, much to the delight of the ecstatic crowd!

The “Koko Master” Dbanj also gave an electrifying performance as usual – looking like a million dollars.

Concert goers also had a fabulous time fraternizing with Beat fm OAP’s; Toolz, Gbemi, Jimmie, Olisa and Osi from Lagos station The Beat 99.9fm as well as OAP’s from Beat fm 97.9 Ibadan; Vickie, Wale Ozolua, Dolapo Alade, Fortune Obeahon, Yinka “daddy Yinks” Oretuga, Lonii Oke and Yinka Oremosu (Tripple X). Good music was provided by Dj Spinnall.
