OZZYBOSCO LANDS LAWMA AMBASSADORSHIP … RELEASE THEME SONG “KEEP LAGOS CLEAN”
The Wonderkd “OzzyBosco” is on another level! This time, the sensational kid artiste is here for a fantastic reason and it’s a special gift for the children on their day. It is a mind-blowing song by the 7yrold kid OzzyBosco titled “KEEP LAGOS CLEAN” the official theme song for the Lagos State Cleanliness Revolution campaign.
In an era where it has become customary for corporate players to use celebrities to drive their brands to consumers, one such organization that has deeply looked inwards for a truly value-adding relationship with a celebrity artiste is LAWMA.
The Lagos State Waste Management Authority (LAWMA) led by the Managing Director, Mr Ola Oresanya on Monday 5th May 2014 endorsed the kid dynamite; OzzyBosco Wonderkid as her Brand Ambassador. The artiste is to use his vantage position as African’s number 1 kid star to complement their environmental cleanliness drive through his pet project “KEEP LAGOS CLEAN” Cleanliness Revolution …children Lead, Adults Follow; a cleanliness campaign which targets children within Lagos and its environ.
OzzyBosco and Lagos State children are about to swing into action in a cleanliness campaign tagged “Keep Lagos Clean”. His primary assignment is to carry along our younger generations to inculcate in them a deep-rooted sense of responsibility towards cleanliness in their homes, schools and public places. Guided by their idol OzzyBosco Wonderkid, they will serve as Change Agents in the on-going fight against filth and environmental pollution in Lagos State.
OzzyBosco will also be partnering with the Local Governments and Local Council Development Areas (LCDA), which would ensure that schools and children in their locality participate fully in the campaign exercise. The communities within the Local Government Area in focus shall be selected at random and replicated in all the LGAs and LCDAs in Lagos State.
LAWMA endorsement makes it the second brand ambassadorial appointment for the “Tinini” crooner in about six months, having been made “Tigo Milk Brand Ambassador” (CWAY Foods and Beverages) only a few months ago.
It is worthy of note that OzzyB won the Kids Got Talent Competition at the tender age of four in November 2011 and has since continued to amaze the entertainment industry with his stage craft, record- breaking achievements and steadfastness; making him the most vibrant kid artiste in Africa.
Last summer, he became the first and only artiste to sponsor 14 children (mainly orphans) on a one-week all-expense paid educational and fun filled holiday to Tinapa, Cross River State where they were warmly received by the State Government (31st August – 6th September, 2013).
And despite being a full time pupil, he has till date done 128 well-recorded scintillating stage performances in 2½ years, carted home 16 reputable awards and 2 ambassadorial endorsements. On the high point, OzzyBosco, witnessed and cheered by a mammoth crowd became the youngest in the industry to receive the exclusive chieftaincy title of “OMENANWATA IGBO” (A Young Achiever) from the Igbo High Chiefs in Lagos State. The awesome event, which saw some political Stalwarts like; Alhaji Bamanga Tukur (CON), his wife, as well as other top dignitaries physically receive chieftaincy titles, became a high point in the entertainment journey of this unstoppable child star.
