Three Families Rejoice Over Ikeja City Mall ‘Dollar Rain’

The season of love and a dollar rain continued to flow in the homes of three lucky families, who won in the Ikeja City Mall Valentine Promo. The promo, which ran for three weeks, was capped off with a draw where three winners emerged. The draw was witnessed by journalists, tenants of the ICM and some of the mall management officials.

Mr. Akin Akingbade emerged as the 3rd Prize winner with a cash prize of $600 while Mrs. Kayode Julianna won the 2nd prize of $900. The grand prize went to Mr. Taiwo Mustapha. He gets the chance to pick his prize of either $1,500 or an all-expense-paid trip for two to either South Africa or Kenya. Mr. Mustapha won by purchasing a phone at SLOT Shop within the mall and leaving his receipt in the designated box to enter the draw.

All the winners were immediately contacted and expressed their gratitude to the management of the ICM for bringing the promotion to life.

Marketing Manager of the ICM, Eniola Ositelu, explained that the promotion was designed to reward the loyalty of the customers and to increase the volume of shoppers to the mall.

“We interacted with the shoppers and store owners and we realized that last year’s Valentine Promo impacted positively on them, so we chose to do it again this year. We weren’t wrong, because the level of participation beat our expectations. People were involved up till the very last day. That is always a good thing,” he said.

Mr. Ositelu went further to explain why the ICM will always excite the customers with international standard programmes.

“Ikeja City Mall is a mega regional shopping mall and everything we do is only comparable to world class standards,” he said. “So, we do our activities to also increase traffic to the mall and the more traffic, the more business our tenants can do and the better for us. So, we do it for our tenant stores, we do it for the shoppers and, most importantly, we do it for the ICM brand.”

All cash gifts to the winners are to be spent on items in any shop within the mall.
