With songs like Winter in July, Father’s Eyes, Tic Tok, Yearning For you and just recently, Amina, Ibrahim Samande is no stranger to the music scene. He started playing the piano and writing songs at the age of 10 and continued to nurture his passion for music in the US where he was awarded a four-month residency at an elite artist colony on Martha’s Vineyard Island, at The Contemporary Music Center in the first quarter of 2002. Having relocated to Nigeria, Ibrahim Samande is looking to cross over to a home based audience and emerge again on the international scene playing with the
likes of Asa, Seal and Sade.
