Top luxury premium Scotch whisky brand Chivas was the focus of attention on Thursday November 28 when brand ambassador, Max Warner hosted lovers of Scotch whisky to an exotic evening with CHIVAS.
Makers of the luxury sprits Pernod Ricard organized the evening event tagged “Blending of an icon” at the Villa Medici, Victoria Island, Lagos. Featuring a short visual documentary about the distilling processes of the two iconic brands Chivas 12 and Chivas 18, Global Brand Ambassador, Max pointed out the unique features of the brand while living the distinguished guests with an experience of being in a distillery.
According to Max “Chivas 12 year old is an aromatic infusion of wild herbs, heather, honey and orchard fruits distilled in Scotland. It has a round and creamy taste of honey and ripe apples, matured in oak barrels for 12 years with a rich and lingering finish”.
He spoke about Chivas 18, as an exceptionally rich whisky with aromas of buttery toffee, dark chocolate and fruit. “Chivas 18 got christened a very special whiskey which matured for at least 18 Years with hints of spices and smoke combine to produce a long warm finish” the Scottish ambassador added.
The event attracted diverse stake holders of foreign and Nigerian exotic bar and club owners, event planners, professionals and artistic elites who enjoyed delicious canapés and endless shots of Chivas neat and cocktails made from Chivas.
