The Freedom Foundation Gala – A Night To Give Back

Freedom Foundation, a Lagos based not-for-profit NGO founded in 2011 to carry out the mandate of championing social reformations within our communities will host its 1st Annual Fund Raising Gala on Saturday December 21st 2013 at the Oriental Hotel, Victoria Island Lagos.

This elegant Black Tie event promises to be an unforgettable night of fine dining featuring a five-course dinner, premium entertainment and silent auction.

Proceeds from the Gala Night will go to support the Freedom Foundation’s much needed work in the society, channeled through three distinct organs; Bethesda Child Support Agency, Genesis House and House of Refuge.

The Bethesda Child Support Agency was created to secure educational opportunities for children (ages 5-12) in disadvantaged and deprived families and communities. Since its inception, Bethesda Child Support Agency has provided free qualitative education for children in their communities with the goal of extending our reach to more communities within and outside our demographical area.

Genesis House is a residential rehabilitation center for girls and young women who have been victims of sexual abuse and sexual exploitation. The home provides shelter, safety and protection these females and also gives them an opportunity to regain their self-esteem and dignity.

House of Refuge is a rehabilitation home to help people suffering from drug dependency and addiction overcome the problem, take responsibility for their lives and get re-integrated into the society. This is a standard rehabilitation center that is registered with the Lagos State Ministry of Health.
