Kendra Wilkinson-Baskett Suffered “Minor Stroke” After Car Accident This Spring
It seems like Kendra Wilinson-Baskett’s car accident earlier this year was a lot more serious than what was originally reported.
E! News has exclusively learned that the reality star suffered a “minor stroke” during the collision. Doctors made the discovery through CT scans just days after the terrifying ordeal. But according to those close to the outspoken blonde, she has since recovered and is well.
“They told her to take it easy and chill out for a couple of weeks, but she is fine,” a source says. “There is nothing to worry about.”
Kendra was involved in a head-on collision in Calabasas in April while driving on the ramp to the 101 freeway.
according to report, at the time that the former Playboy model was taken to Providence Tarzana Medical Center for observation for minor injuries, including possible whiplash. Insiders added that she was fine following her brief hospital visit.
Kendra’s black Audi sedan appeared to have a great deal of damage to the front of the car.
The mother of one took to Twitter after the accident to thank fans for their well-wishes, “Just really reminded me how fragile life really is and how important love really is.”
The traumatic incident occurred merely weeks after she quit the reality show Splash after claiming that she had a fear of heights.
“I’m so sorry, everybody,” Wilkinson said when she was unable to dive from the 23-foot-high platform. “This is the first time in my life I’ve quit something. This will haunt me for the rest of my life.”
Kendra posted a cryptic message on Twitter about the health news, saying, “U know how you ‘change’ after a car crash. Ya I definitely look at life differently after.”
